You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. GS-06:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-05 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience assembling monthly expenditures for operating budget reporting; reviewing correspondence for grammatical accuracy; purchasing, receiving and distributing supplies and special-order items, including reconciling purchases in a database and monitoring when additional supplies needed to be ordered. OR One full year (18 semester/27 quarter hours) of graduate level education in coursework directly related to the work of the position (for example Business or Public Administration, or other administrative or management fields related to the position being filled) and the education was obtained at an accredited college or university. OR A combination of graduate level education (for example Business or Public Administration, or other administrative or management fields related to the position being filled) and specialized experience. GS-07:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-06 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as experience collecting and analyzing budgetary information and statistical data for use in the formulation and execution of budget requests and reports; Purchasing supplies, equipment, and services; Creating travel orders and vouchers; Composing, typing, and proofreading correspondence and narrative and tabular material (i.e., databases and spreadsheets). OR One full year (18 semester/27 quarter hours) of graduate level education in coursework directly related to the work of the position (for example Business or Public Administration, or other administrative or management fields related to the position being filled) and the education was obtained at an accredited college or university. OR A combination of graduate level education (for example Business or Public Administration, or other administrative or management fields related to the position being filled) and specialized experience. GS-08:
You must have one year specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 in the Federal service. Specialized experience is defined as as experience advising personnel on applicable laws, regulations, directives, and policies related to acquisitions, payroll, human resources, agreements, travel, facilities, safety, security, and other related issues; establishing annual operating budget by collecting and analyzing budgetary information and statistical data for use in the formulation and execution of budget requests and reports; reviewing contract status reports to determine active and inactive purchase orders, inter-agency agreements, or contracts are on file. OR Two full years (18 semester/27 quarter hours) of graduate level education in coursework directly related to the work of the position (for example Business or Public Administration, or other administrative or management fields related to the position being filled) and the education was obtained at an accredited college or university. If you are a current federal employee in the General Schedule (GS) pay plan and applying for a promotion opportunity, you must meet time-in-grade (TIG) requirements of 52 weeks of service at the next lower grade level in the normal line of progression for the position being filled. This requirement must be met by the closing date of this announcement.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
